2024 FIRST Robotics Competition – Charged Up!
We are looking forward to kicking off the 2024 FRC Season! We can’t wait to have teams out to Grand Valley State University again!!

Schedule:
We will provide game reveal viewing for those that attend Kickoff to pick up their team’s Kit of Parts. Our schedule for the day is as follows:
- Doors Open: 11:30am
- FIRST Pre-Show: 12:00pm
- Kit of Parts Pickup: We will start distributing as soon as the game is announced (approx. 12:30pm)
- Kickoff End: Please make arrangements to pick up your kit by 1:30pm.
Can’t Make it to Kickoff?
If you are not able to pick up your Kit of Parts in person, you can request that another team pick up your Kit for you. For all the details on how to have another team pick up your kit, please see the FIRST Surrogate Kit Pick-Up Information.
Grand Valley will also offer Kit Pickups the week after Kick Off if coming during the week works better for you and your team. They will be open Monday (Jan.8th) – Friday (Jan. 12th) from 8am-3pm for week day pickups.

The Charged Up Kickoff will be at the Grand Valley IDC Building downtown Grand Rapids. For those that picked up their Kit of Parts with us in the past, this is the same building where we have held past Kickoff Events.

There is parking all around the block for the building and there some spaces by the main entrance. Parking in the lot is opened to the public and meter parking is free on the weekends.
